The students visited the region and asked the Municipality of Loutraki and Perahora to provide voluntary work in the frame of their environmental educational program. The municipality of Loutraki and Perahora corresponded enthusiastically and so far two events have taken place already:

- on the 2 July 2009 the cleaning of Loutraki beach was done by students from the High school of California

The services of the Municipality of Loutraki and Perahora provided equipment (sachets of litter, gloves of use, lorry) and personnel, while at the enf they were offered students juices and the famous Loutraki waters from the Municipality.

The cleaning of coasts is included in an educational environmental program that has been taken place in the last 5 years. A total of 5 similar activities have been planned to clean the coasts and archaeological spaces of the Municipality of Loutraki and Perahora.
